FOR KIDS

PREPARE FOR YOUR CLASS

To make the most of your experience, here’s what you need to know before your session:
  • Wear comfortable, and casual clothes that you don’t mind getting messy.
  • Avoid long nails, as they make working with clay more difficult.
  • Remove all hand jewellery before the session.
  • Bring your ID for verification.
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes early to get settled before class starts.
  • Lockers are available, but your belongings are your responsibility.

Arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated, and sessions will begin as scheduled.

Yes, but please notify our team at least 24 hours in advance.

Short nails are recommended for working with clay. Please also remove all jewellery from your hands.

If you have skin allergies, kindly inform our team beforehand.

Please bring your ID for verification.

Lockers with keys are available. However, you are responsible for your belongings, so ensure you use the lockers properly.

Your booking includes the required clay. Additional clay can be purchased at the studio for an extra fee.

We recommend wearing loose and comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty for the session. A clothing rack is also available at the studio for Abayas.

No, smoking is strictly prohibited inside and outside the premises.

Free parking is available outside the warehouse unit. However, there are no designated customer parking spots within the complex.

Children under 13 must always be accompanied by an adult (18+). Our staff is not responsible for childcare.

Your ceramic piece will be ready in approximately two weeks after your session.

Ceramic pieces left in the studio for more than 80 days after firing or glazing will be donated or recycled. A staff member will notify you when your item is ready for glazing or collection. Please collect it on time.

Masks are not mandatory but are strongly recommended (and provided by the studio) when using sandpaper on ceramics.

No, you don’t need prior experience. Our instructors will guide you step by step.

Pottery on the Wheel or wheel throwing is the process of forming clay into shapes on a potter’s wheel. It is a common technique for making ceramic mugs, bowls and plates.

You’ll learn the basics of centring clay on the wheel and shaping it into a small pot or bowl.

Yes, your piece will be dried, fired, and ready for collection in two weeks.

Ceramic pieces need time to dry and be fired. If you’d like to glaze your piece, you can return to the studio for a glazing session. After glazing, the piece will go through a second firing. The process takes up to two weeks, after which your final piece will be ready for collection.

Adults can attend our workshop. For children's workshops, the child must be at least 12 years old to attend our Pottery on the Wheel workshop.
